Sure, sloths enjoy a leisurely lifestyle. But that doesn’t mean we don’t love to explore!
There comes a time when even the slowest of creatures are ready for new adventures and new scenery. For me, Jerry the Sloth, that time is now.
I’m off on a two-week vacation where I’ll be exploring the sights and sounds of some of the world’s most beloved destinations. The first place I’ve settled into is Brazil!

My vacation in Brazil started with meeting my cousins who led me on a tour of the lush rainforest — with the occasional savory fruit treat along the way. Hanging upside down with the three-toed sloths of the Amazon Rainforest made me feel right at home. Fun fact: They have a mossy and algae-covered coat that makes them look like part of the rainforest’s foliage. It’s a huge help in keeping the three-toed sloths protected, and the ecosystem on their body offers a source of food for various organisms. Pretty cool stuff!
Up next on my travel schedule: Panama. Stay tuned for details and photos!
